Building Surveying

Our Building Surveyors are able to undertake a complete range of services, from the design and construction of extensions and alterations to the complete management of the ongoing maintenance of properties.

We undertake complete surveys of buildings and draw up recommendations both to remedy any immediate problems and to provide a schedule of cyclic maintenance items. We also ensure that service contracts are competitively tendered and are in place for all specialist installations, thus ensuring trouble free running of boilers, heating installations, controls etc..  All of these works are overseen by our Building Surveyors and Clerks of Works who are on call twenty-four hours a day.

With building legislation continually changing, we ensure that our clients are kept fully up to date with any new or additional obligations.

Recent examples of these include the setting up of monitoring procedures to avoid the risk of Legionnaires' disease and the upgrading of asbestos surveys together with the safe removal of hazardous materials where applicable.

We are always available to discuss and advise on any problems that you may have with your building, both in regard to its condition and suitability for the purpose for which the building is being used.
